UberHobby is happy to announce its second online build contest, Ad Astra! “To the stars”,
sponsored by ModelMakerZ paints and pigments.
Prizes will be:
1st Place: $25.00 ModelMakerz Gift Certificate;
2nd place: $15.00 ModelMakerz Gift Certificate;
3rd place: $10.00 ModelMakerz Gift Certificate.
Everyone who enters and completes the contest will get a free bottle of paint.
Contest Rules and Guidelines.
Contest #2 will run from January 1st to March 25 2011.
The kit can be of any manned space craft from reality, science fiction or “what if”.
After market detail and Scratch building is allowed.
Each contestant will create their own thread under the Online Contest forum of the message board.
The thread will be titled in the following manner in the topic box:
Manufacturer, Subject, First Name, Last Name.
Each contestant can only enter one kit per contest.
Each contestant's first post MUST include a photo showing the following: Box top, Open box with all pieces still on
the sprue, and a newspaper showing that days date. Any entries that do not follow this step will be disqualified!
Each contest will run 85 days.
Each contestant will post at least six more pictures showing the progress of the build.
Each contestants final post will include four to 20 photos of the final build
UberHobby reserves the right to change the rules or cancel the contest at any time.
To post pictures when you start or update to your own thread use the Attachment Box below the Topic Box.
Entries will be judged on finish, building/painting skill, complexity of kit, and overall appearance.
