Here is the 1962 Hayden Proffitt SS/S super stock. This car was built after 4yrs of resurch and talking to Harold Clay who did a replica 1:1 car also, Phil Reed, Brand Proffitt (Hayden's son) And also Hayden Proffitt him self.

I have to take the box air photo so please bare with me on that as I have to dig out the extra kit to do this.
Build sheet:
Paint: 1962 Roman Red (Chromabase Du Pont) Clear Coat: Du Pont Hot Hues
Decals: Model Car World
After Market parts: Replica Min of Maryland Cheater Slicks, Model Car Garage Photo etch. Scratch made the SunTach decal. R&B spark plugs added.
Scratch built: Sanders Headers, Sun Tach decal,Vavle stems in the rims, correct 4 speed shifter lever.
Detail work: Full wired, fuel lines, brake lines with T Spliters and emergency brake lines. BMF added to the windows, side trim and also added the trunk trim that the kit does not have or shows
Changes to the car: 1962 NHRA Rules on exhaust, plus the sanders (S and S) Headers over and under steering shaft on the driver side. Extra upper link on the rear end was added to make it the 4 link.
Out Source: Chrome Tech USA did the bumpers and gril.
